Liz has been born and bred into the quilting business. Her mom, BrendaLou, began teaching her to sew as a little girl. Now as an adult, Liz is hooked on quilting also! She has been working full time in management within SDQ since 2002.

Liz’s creative edge with her intuitive mind, mixed together with BrendaLou’s extensive quilt knowledge makes for a great team in designing and producing quilt patterns that are sold in quilts stores around the country.  Her passion for teaching classes has grown to include teaching quilting students at College of the Redwoods as well as at Scottie Dog Quilts.

Liz designs patterns for the Scottie Dog Quilts label, her latest is The Market Tote, which can be found in quilt shops all over the USA.

Liz is married to Steve and they have a 3 year old daughter, Sydney, who is the youngest partner in Scottie Dog Quilts.
