I started quilting at 13 when my Grandmother taught my sister and I how to put together a quilt top. That was all it took! I was hooked and have been in love with quilting ever since.

I’ve been there through all the wonderful changes that have come to the quilting world. Who ever thought of rotary cutting should be given the Nobel “Piece” Prize! I used to hand quilt everything, but now I find it to be too slow! I have the need for speed in my quilting. About 2 years ago I launched my own pattern line called; From the Nest Designs and I’m really enjoying putting all those ideas I have out in the market. One thing I’ve learned through the years is that there is always more than one way to do something and it’s fun to learn from others.
